Kesh Jig
Kesh Jig, sometimes referred to as simply “The Kesh,” is a jig in G Major. It is a very popular session tune and often taught to beginners. It’s a great tune for practicing G and A rolls, as well as good backbeat and breathing in compound meters. The end of the tune also goes up to high B’, so accurate intonation and nice tone quality in the high register is a must.
